I just wanted to make this to show people that what they may think is effective for weight loss actually isn’t. The first picture was taken after a week or so of heavy restricting and binging. The second picture was taken after a week of healthy eating & exercise.
Start treating your body with love. Nourish yourself and you’ll see results. I promise.
HEY. SEE WHAT IT SAYS AT THE TOP? SAME. WEIGHT. Scale means nothing. Point and case.
TRUTH.
You have no idea how much this post just encouraged me. I’ve been the same weight since I started this weight loss but my measurements have changed and I don’t look so pudgy. I wanted to give up cause the weight on the scale really wasnt moving at all. THIS was what I needed. ^^
This happened to me once though. Don’t tell girls with eating disorders that scales lie.
SCALES DO NOT LIE, ANGEL.
when you have an ED, scales are the only way of telling yourself that you have made progress. Mirrors lie, camera angles lie, people lie. You can only trust solid numbers.
most girls with EDs also have BDD so they won’t notice a difference unless they see it on a scale. Telling them that scales lie only makes it easier for them to keep hating themselves.
